The organisers for the Finland stage of the world championships have sort of followed suit with the Swedish organisers. Where they have not slashed prices as such they have announced a new group offer for the games.
It is now possible to buy tickets as a family package where you buy one ticket and get four free. The offer is to encourage families to come to the games.
Just before the news broke MTV3 published a story saying that the Finnish organisers had asked the swedes to do the same prior to the announcement of 70% price slashes in Stockholm. The Swedish organisers said that this type of ‘promotion’ would have caused a media storm in Sweden.
Never the less, it looks like the fire sale of tickets has begun. Where the attendance was better in today’s games the Hartwall Arena is yet to be fully sold out.
The offer is only available for Finland vs Kazakhstan and Finland vs France.
