About

This blog exists for a few purposes:

1) It is my player diary. A few years a go I thought it would be cool to post my thoughts on the web for people to see and check out what the response was. So far so good. All the posts, or most of them, are about my own performance and usually about me whipping myself over small mistakes and so on.

2)Punditry. Yes I want to be like Bob McKenzie or Pierre McGuire, but instead of having opinions on absolutely everything, I’ll focus on some of the big issues rather than trades and stuff.

3) Reviews: I am continually looking to review hockey related gear from protein shakes, to sweats, to skates, protective equipment and sticks. If you have a hockey related product that you would like to see reviewed, please do get in touch.

These opinions are my own and do not represent the views of my team (Bristol Pitbulls) or my those of my sponsor’s.

Hi bro, I stumbled in your blog while cruisin’ in the net and I found it very interesting. As much as I understood you’re a finnish D-Man that lives in England, aren’t you? I read that you wanna become a pro player and you’re busting your ass to achieve this goal.
I play on the blueline as well in an amateur team in Italy and I share the most of the things you stick with regarding hockey. Did you make it to a pro team anyway? Many congratulations for your english: when I was reading the first lines of your blog I wasn’t sure if you were american or not. A question: why don’t you stay and play in Finnland if you wanna become a pro player? Are you in England for study or work?

    Hey man,
Great blog. Nice to see there’s some more interest in the game in England. It’s especially interesting to read the perspective of someone who wants to become a pro player as opposed to just the ordinary fan blogs.
We wish you the best of luck for your career and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want our support on anything!

    James – UKNHL

  4. Small world, good to see you on here, great blog from a players persepective
